USEFUL LINKS

  • Barclays Premier League
Here it is folks - a website dedicated to the glorification of a bunch of overpaid, over-hyped, mostly foreign, posing, diving, cheating prima-donnas. Any similarity to the game that we play at the weekend is purely coincidental.

  • Barkston Ash District FA
Barkston Ash is our district FA. The website is particularly useful for those of you with teams in District Cup competitions each season.

  • Bundesliga
Keep tabs on how it's going in the Bundesrepublik. Come on you Schalke!

  • Charles Rice Junior Football League
Website for the League in which the Under 11s Sunday team and the Under 17s participate.

  • Coca-Cola Football League
.... and for us Leeds United supporters.....!

  • Federation Internationale de Football Association (that's FIFA to you and me)
Mmmm. That Sepp Blatter. The only man on the planet with a website that's more complicated the FA's!

  • Professional Footballers Association
OK, so we're not professionals but what's wrong with aspiring to those standards? (No sarcastic comments please!) Lots of coaching practices. Give them a go. You never know what might happen.

  • The Football Association
The Football Association website. Although this site is crammed full of useful information, it's a real maze. Once you have eventually found what you are looking for, make sure you bookmark it otherwise you may find that you can never find your way back there again on a subsequent visit! Just make sure you have a flask and some sandwiches with you in case you get lost!!

  • Union of European Football Associations (UEFA)
By eck, that Mitch-elle Platty Knee were a good player. Anybody else remember his winning goal against Portugal in the semi-final of the '84 Euro Champs when John Motson completely lost it? One of the greatest games in the history of the universe. Ever. Now here he is several years older (and some stones heavier) running the whole of the cash cow that is European footy. Not done bad for a Frenchy, eh?

  • West Riding County Football Association
The website for our parent county association. Lots of useful information, particularly all types of course dates for those of us who are that way inclined.
